We believe that brands are like people. Brands become personified because it’s a deeply human way of understanding and interacting with our world. We believe the more person-like you make your brand, the more your audience can see themselves in it. Anchoring a part of their identity to yours; sowing the seeds of brand loyalty.
We believe that story is what connects us all to one another. Through story we learn what it truly means to be human. The stories of our ancestors. The stories we tell ourselves. The stories of our lives and our individual identities.

We believe the key to advertising is to know yourself, know your audience, and to meet them where they are in a way that is useful, entertaining, and/or beautiful. If you can achieve all three, even better.
We believe that by taking the time to truly understand yourself and clearly articulating who that person is, you’ll discover who your natural audience is. And with that, you’ll intuitively know how and where to meet your audience.
We believe that advertising should be judged on how well it communicates who your brand is and how well it resonates with your audience. How well did it communicate the intended message? Was my message useful, entertaining, and/or beautiful to my audience? Chasing metrics alone means losing sight of what truly matters; Sharing your authentic self, and connecting with your audience.
Business
We believe that building a business is one of the most incredible things we can build. Through business, we can become the change we want to see in the world, at scale. If a person decides to recycle their soda bottle, that’s wonderful; Imagine if Coca-Cola decided to stop using plastic for their soda bottles globally. That’s the kind of impact you can make as a business.
We believe building a business is a lot like parenting. Every child is unique, with their own set of needs, strengths, and weaknesses. You instill in them your values and virtues. You start without all the answers, trusting that you'll find them when you need to. It takes a village and lots of attention to raise a healthy, well rounded person.
You’ll make mistakes along the way; it’s how you learn and grow from those mistakes that makes all the difference in their lives. If all goes well, they will grow up with a strong support network, a clear sense of who they are, what they believe, and what their greater purpose is. If you’re lucky, they’ll carry your legacy on long after you're gone.

Meet The Team
Who is Josh as a Professional?
I love passionate, ambitious people. My purpose as a professional has been to build the skill set and knowledge to help these people achieve their dreams through branding and advertising.
After putting myself through college—earning an Associate of Arts from UCC and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon—I began my journey as the Chief Brand Officer at MaskIT in 2015. Since then, I’ve spent the last decade helping an entrepreneur take an idea from her head to building a nationally recognized brand beloved by well over 100,000 households across the country and trusted by companies like Apple, Google, and GEICO. We’ve generated well over 4 million dollars in sales and have recently received a company valuation of over 20 million dollars.
Over the years, I’ve guided our brand development, optimized our digital presence, and built beautiful websites. I’ve created print ads, LinkedIn ads, TikTok, and Facebook ads. I’ve written articles, blog posts, and highly effective email campaigns. I’ve also taken on the de facto role of E-Commerce Director, overseeing all aspects of our online sales channels.
Seeing our brand blossom into the authentic, purpose-driven organization that it is today fills my soul with immense joy and satisfaction. It’s truly ineffable how proud I am of our team and what we’ve accomplished together. With MaskIT in a good place, I’m looking to help more passionate, ambitious people achieve their dreams.
Who is Josh as a Person?
I was born with a playful, curious nature and a knack for creativity and divergent thinking. Kind, caring, and generous, I find joy in making others feel good—typically through praise, laughter, or a heartfelt compliment. Coming from humble beginnings and overcoming significant adversity has shaped me into someone who is confident, resilient, and determined to be a lifelong learner. One quirk my wife loves to point out is that for being extremely coordinated, I'm insanely clumsy. Unfortunately, she's learned this the hard way over our many home construction projects we've tackled together.
I find people to be the most fascinating thing on the planet. I’m drawn to experiences that inspire wonder and creativity. I love exploring nature, traveling to new places, competing in sports like softball and basketball, and capturing beautiful moments through photography. Problem-solving energizes me, whether it’s solving puzzles, jerry-rigging things at home, or guessing plot lines in stories. In quieter moments, I enjoy watching movies and TV shows with loved ones, reading books about branding, psychology, and communication. I also love having deep conversations about life, politics, and the human condition.
